Franklin, United States - May 11, 2020 /NewsNetwork/ —

(Franklin, TN, May 11, 2020) One of the best qualities of a leader is knowing that he doesn’t have all the answers. As they are mentoring others, they are still willing to be taught. This tells us that a good leader is one who prioritizes self-improvement and personal development. And being a constant learner is a prominent quality all visionaries share.

A visionary himself, Gene Bicknell relaunches his book, Never Fry Bacon in the Nude, where he shares all the lessons he’s learned from being running multiple businesses, being active in philanthropy, and serving as mayor of Pittsburg, KS.

Despite coming from an impoverished background, Bicknell demonstrated grit and leadership at an early age. After serving in the army in the early 1950s, he bought his first Pizza Hut franchise in Pittsburg in 1962. Not long after, he added another store in Joplin, Missouri. As the years went on, he became the world’s largest Pizza Hut franchisee. He also holds stakes in numerous other restaurants and business ventures over his business career. His success in various business ventures made him become a recipient of the Regional and National Entrepreneur awards.

Bicknell is a generous person. He’s always willing to share his philosophies in both business and personal life to the people within his network. He wanted to expand his reach and help as many people as possible through his book.

His generosity didn’t stop there. He has raised funds for hospitals, universities, and dozens of charitable causes. He has become a recipient of the National Award for Philanthropy.

Bicknell is not one to rest on his laurels. He’s a multi-skilled and vastly-experienced individual: He’s a cattle rancher, veteran, professor, entrepreneur, actor, pilot, politician, sports enthusiast, collector, philanthropist, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Add to these his humor, good heart, and wisdom, Gene has a lot to offer to the world.
