Dover’s Chalk Paint Products are an economical and easy way to refresh and revitalize any room in the home or office. Chalk paint remains a popular method to refurbish an older piece of furniture. Use a chalk paint first, then a wax, or just a wax, depending on the kind of finish that is desired.

An all-natural blend of beeswax, carnauba wax, and walnut oil make the Dover’s Chalk Paint Wax Chalk a great choice for any DIY project. The smell is pleasant and can be used inside as it does not contain any harsh solvents. The wax applies easily over all brands of chalk finish paint with a brush or soft cloth. Available in a clear or dark brown color, use separately or blend together to make a lighter shade of brown.

Another Dover’s product that is popular and easy to use is the Dover’s Chalk Finish Paint Mix. Instead of buying a large container of chalk paint in one color, use the paint mix instead. Any flat latex or acrylic paint can be blended with the mix to create a unique shade of chalk paint. Leftover paint can be stored indefinitely in a sealed container for future applications. The mix won’t clump or harden like other brands made with plaster or grout. Once the mix is blended, it can be applied to any clean surface, including glass. No sanding or priming is required, just start the project right away.

No project is complete without good quality brushes to use for clean, smooth application. Dover’s Chalk Paint and Wax Brush comes in two sizes for all types of projects. Choose from a medium flat oval head or large rounded oval, both made with quality natural boar hair bristles. A wooden contoured handle makes for a comfortable and well-balanced brush.
